MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Police are reaching out to the public for information that can help them solve a homicide.

On Sunday at approximately 2:24 p.m., officers responded to a homicide at 3434 Winchester Road.

They were told that the victim, Keon Walton, left the location in his car and returned a short time later suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to Regional One Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

MS man sentenced to 30 years in prison for videoing sexual assault of minors

Investigators learned that after Walton was taken to the hospital, someone took his black, four-door, older-model pickup truck from the scene.

The truck was described as having multiple bullet holes as it was driven away.

Homicide investigators are asking the community for any information about the location of the bullet-ridden truck.

At this time, Memphis Police say no arrests have been made.

If you have any information that could help police, call CrimeStoppers at 901-528-CASH.
