    Man critically injured in Frayser shooting; 4 detained

    UPDATE: Memphis Police have announced that four people have been detained in connection to this shooting.

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is in critical condition after a shooting in Frayser on Tuesday night.

    At 7:07 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 1400 block of Briercrest Lane.

    A man was taken from the scene in a private vehicle to Methodist University. The victim is said to be in critical condition.

    Memphis Police say no one has been detained but this is an ongoing investigation.
