    Man allegedly steals $2999 internet router from BestBuy

    MEMPHIS, Tenn — A man stole an internet router valued at $2,999.99 from a BestBuy in East Memphis last Friday, police say.

    On September 6, police reported that a man stole a Netgear router from the store at 5821 Poplar Ave.

    Police say, he allegedly swapped the router into a box intended for a different item and then left the store.

    MPD says no arrest has been made. This is an ongoing investigation.
