MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An 18-year-old woman was ejected from a car after a crash on Friday morning in Frayser. A man also involved in the crash was left severely injured.

Memphis Police say just before 11 a.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle wreck in the 2900 block of Rangeline Road.

A vehicle was overturned, a female passenger was ejected, and a pole was struck, police say.

MPD says the woman who was ejected from the vehicle did not stay at the scene. However, a man at the scene was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.

The 18-year-old was later brought into Methodist North Hospital on New Covington Pike for treatment due to her injuries.

This is still an ongoing investigation.
