MEMPHIS, Tenn. — We’re getting our first look at surveillance video following a shooting that injured several people outside crowded Midtown restaurant Railgarten last month.

Detawn Gunn, the suspect charged with five counts of attempted murder in that shooting, was back before a judge Friday as attorneys argued whether he should be back in jail following his release.

Prosecutors say Gunn was arguing with another man in the parking lot on Central Avenue when he reached into his car and grabbed a gun.

The victim walked away, but moments later, video played in court shows shots fired as the victim is seen walking away from the gunman a second time.

Video shown in court shows the suspect and victim arguing amid several bystanders.

Prosecutors say those videos were shown to Judge Bill Anderson before he released Gunn on his own recognizance.

Gunn’s initial bond was set at $500,000 by a Judicial Commissioner, and the District Attorney requested to keep that bond amount.

Anderson has remained steadfast that he followed the law in allowing the suspect’s release.

“I know what I’m doing. I’m following the law,” Anderson told WREG on Sept. 4.

Gunn remains a free man Friday. He is scheduled for another court date Monday.

Pick up Anderson and put that inept ass in jail until the suspect is found.
