Man critically injured in airport area shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was left critically injured after police say there was a shooting in the airport area early Tuesday morning.

Around 6 a.m., officers say they responded to a shooting in the 2600 Block of American Way where a male victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was then taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.
