MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two men were injured after being shot Tuesday night while at an Orange Mound gas station, according to Memphis Police.

Just before 11 p.m., officers say they were called to a shooting at the Save and Go gas station at 2335 Park Avenue. One male victim was found lying on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds to his right arm and right rib cage.

The victim stated that he was walking from the side of the store when an unknown suspect started shooting.

He was then taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Another male victim was found sitting on the ground, also suffering from gunshot wounds. Police say he was shot in the right arm and the right hand.

He told police that he was with the first victim when shots were fired at the gas station. He stated that he did not see anything, only a red car leaving the scene.

He was then taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.
