    Man dead after 18-wheeler crash in Holly Springs, MS

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is dead after a car crash involving an 18-wheeler Thursday morning in Marshall County, Mississippi, reports state.

    Just before 2:30 a.m., officers with the Holly Springs Police Department responded to a two-vehicle wreck involving an 18-wheeler on Interstate 22 eastbound at mile marker 29.

    A Mississippi coroner has confirmed that one man died due to injuries at the scene. He says there were no other reports of injuries at this time.

    According to the Mississippi Department of Transportation, all lanes in both directions are currently blocked. Drivers should expect delays and seek alternative routes.
