MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Juvenile Court of Memphis and Shelby County says the asbestos and mold in its Adams Avenue facility is gone, and employees will return to the building on Friday.

In May, juvenile court workers were forced to move out after an inspection uncovered the mold, asbestos, and lead paint.

Juvenile Court Chief Administrative Officer Dr. Stephanie Hill said the Shelby County Health Department has officially deemed the facility safe, and they will resume operations and public services in phases.
