MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two teenagers, one just 14 years old, have been arrested and charged in connection with more than a dozen car thefts and break-ins across Memphis and Shelby County.

The suspects were arrested Tuesday, after a two-and-a-half month investigation led officers to the 1000 block of Crosswood in Frayser, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said.

The sheriff’s office said the 14-year-old was connected to nine incidents in Memphis and six in unincorporated Shelby County.

That suspect is charged with three counts of theft $10,000-$60,000, three counts of auto burglary, possession of a handgun as a juvenile and possession of a programming device.
