Shooting near Lamar Avenue leaves man severely injured

MEMPHIS, Tenn — A man is in critical condition after a shooting near Lamar Avenue Thursday morning, Memphis Police say.

According to reports, officers responded to the shooting in the 3000 block of Lamar Avenue just after 10 a.m. A man was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.

MPD says officers are currently working to determine where the shooting took place. There is no suspect information available at this time.
