MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Several people were left injured after being stabbed overnight at a home in Highland Heights, according to Memphis Police.

Around midnight, officers say they responded to a wounding call in the 3200 block of Guernsey Avenue. A male victim told police he was attacked by several males who came into the home.

The victim stated that a man named “OddBall” and another suspect attacked him before leaving the scene.

A witness told officers that he walked into the home and a female named “Chocolate” opened the door for him. That is when the witness says he heard loud arguing coming from inside the home.

As the witness stepped off the porch, three males allegedly came running out of the house wounded. He says the victim came out last with a knife in his hand.

One of the suspects had a cut on their left palm and left pinky.

Another suspect had cuts on both of his hands and a cut on his head. Police say the witness walked him over to a nearby apartment.

According to reports, the suspects came over to confront the victim over owed money.

Officers say they were notified that two of the wounded arrived at Methodist North. One of them told police during the argument at the house, the lights went out and that’s when he felt being cut on his hand.

This is still an ongoing investigation. So far, no charges have been filed.
