MPD investigating crash involving motorcycle on US-64

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Police Department is currently investigating a two-vehicle crash on US-64 Tuesday morning.

There is a large police presence involving the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office on US-64 at Cobb Street.

Police say the crash involved a motorcycle and was reported just before 7 a.m. WREG crews were on the scene and saw two police motorcycles on the back of a tow truck that appeared to have been involved in a crash.

It is unclear if anyone was injured in the crash. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is on the scene, according to the MPD.
