    11-year-old girl hit by car in Whitehaven: Police

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An 11-year-old girl was hit by a car in Whitehaven Wednesday morning, according to Memphis Police.

    Just before 7:20 a.m., officers say they responded to Millbranch Road and East Raines Road regarding a crash with a pedestrian struck.

    Police say one female child was found injured and taken to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in non-critical condition.

    The driver remained on the scene.

    This is still an ongoing investigation.
