MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman was charged after a domestic dispute turned into a deadly confrontation with an armed group of men Tuesday in North Memphis.

Brianna Lee, 22, was charged with facilitation of first-degree murder and first-degree murder in the shooting in the 1400 block of North Bellevue . Police responded at 4:11 p.m.

The male victim, identified as Ardis Reese, was found shot multiple times in a house. He died before he could be taken to a hospital.

Lee allegedly confessed to police. According to a report, around 3 a.m., Lee and Reese, who were in a relationship, fought at a house on Louisville Avenue.

The argument turned physical and Lee had to go to a hospital for treatment.

When she returned home, she contacted several friends through social media, telling them what happened and telling them to show up at her house.

Lee told police several males with guns followed her to the house on Bellevue where Reese was. When they knocked on the door, they got no answer, so one of the men kicked in the door.

Lee told police she then heard several gunshots.
