    Woman accused of stabbing man in neck during argument

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman is accused of stabbing a man in the neck during an argument Wednesday night, Memphis Police say.

    According to reports, officers responded to the call in the 3000 Block of Mountain Terrace Street around 9:30 p.m. When they arrived at the home, they saw that a man had been stabbed.

    The victim told police that the home is a rooming house, and Shannon Lee-Johnson, 52, is a tenant who lives in a separate room. He said they were involved in a verbal argument when she grabbed the knife and stabbed him in the neck.

    Lee-Johnson then locked herself in her bathroom, where police found her and took her into custody.

    The knife used to stab the victim was also found in her bedroom, police say.

    Lee-Johnson was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault. She is being held on a $7,500 bond.
