L ast month, people at a dog park nearby on Front Street had to dive for cover when someone in a white sedan jumped out of his car with an AK-47-style weapon and opened fire on another vehicle.

No one in the dog park was hurt, but there were 17 bullet holes on the side of the Malco Powerhouse Cinema across the street.
