    Arrest made in fatal shooting, attempted carjacking on Easter

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was arrested for allegedly being involved in a fatal shooting outside a store in southwest Memphis on Easter Sunday last year.

    Eundra Mabry is charged with First Degree Murder in Perpreation of Attempted Robbery, Attempted Felony to wit Especially Aggravated Robbery, and Employing a Firearm During a Dangerous Felony.

    35-year-old Quinton Donald was shot and killed outside a southwest Memphis convenience store off West Raines Road.

    Family tells us the father of three had stopped at the store to get a snack when he was killed in broad daylight. Memphis Police believe it was an attempted carjacking.

    Officers watched the surveillance video and saw that the victim walked to his car and tried to get inside when a man with a gun approached him.

    Police say the suspect was demanding the victim’s keys, but he put up a fight. That is when Eundra Mabry and another suspect, John Jackson, allegedly fired shots at the victim.

    Records show a Memphis police officer actually recognized one of the shooters as Mabry, but he wasn’t arrested until Tuesday.

    Eundra Mabry is set to appear in court on Wednesday morning.

    A 16-year-old was also charged in the case.
