Legendary commentator Jim Ross is set to be a part of AEW All In .

Jim Ross underwent surgery in July after he suffered a broken wrist. This was the latest health issue Ross had dealt with in recent months,

During an appearance on Highspots Sign-it-Live , Jim Ross commented on the injury. (H/t Andrew Thompson of POST Wrestling for the transcription)

“Did I tell you I had a broken wrist?” he said. “I tripped over my charger cord in my condo. I was naked and barefooted so, I didn’t have much defense.”

Jim Ross also appeared on Highspots’ Virtual Gimmick Table . Looking ahead to AEW All In, he noted that he thought he was slated to call the world title match between Bryan Danielson and Swerve Strickland.

Well, I’m getting ready to go to London for AEW,” he said. “I think I’m scheduled to call the Bryan Danielson-Swerve (Strickland) match, and that’s gonna be a barnburner. A slobberknocker if you will. Both them are hungry, both of them are great. It could be (that someone will get beat like a government mule). Very likely. I think that may happen.”

Jim Ross signed a new contract with AEW earlier in 2024 that has seen him primarily shift to calling pay-per-views. After missing AEW Double or Nothing due to contracting a virus, he was part of Forbidden Door. Ross has also appeared on AEW television in recent weeks for sitdown interviews with Strickland and Danielson.
