CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will continue their rivalry at WWE Bash in Berlin .

CM Punk came to the ring on the August 19 episode of WWE RAW. He highlighted the success of Fanatics Fest NYC and noted that fans came from all over the world to see him. Punk said that fans gave him bracelets, much like Drew McIntyre took his bracelet. He said that McIntyre was obsessed with him, and he made him his own bracelet.

Punk then stated that, unless McIntyre was a chicken, they would clash in a Strap Match at WWE Bash in Berlin. He said that he wanted to leave McIntyre with lasting scars. McIntyre interrupted and told Punk he had been thinking about what he would to do him for whipping him last week. He accepted the challenge and said that he didn’t want to wait, as he wanted to fight Punk then and there.

CM Punk said he would drop the strap so they could fight if McIntyre gave him his bracelet. McIntyre turned him down, saying that Punk was a liar. They stared each other down, and tensions remained at a boiling point as Bash in Berlin drew closer.

CM Punk previously returned to the ring at WWE SummerSlam and lost to Drew McIntyre in a match where Seth Rollins was the special referee.

    CM Punk On Injuries

Punk’s return to the ring came after his latest injury that sidelined him for several months. Speaking on The Masked Man Show at Fanatics Fest NYC, he was asked whether he ever doubted himself during his recovery.

“No, because while it did get dark, I only let that happen for about eight minutes, and then I move on, “CM Punk said. “Because you can’t stay there. You can have doubts, but you can only have them for a short amount of time. The circumstances of my injuries were all essentially what they were. I’ve paid the price, I’ve had a career. So yeah, sorry if my elbows got a little wear and tear on them. But guess what? They’re brand-new now, so we’re ready to go. I think an athlete in any sport at any level knows that this is just the price you pay. I have paid that price, I will continue to pay that price until the wheels fall off.
