Tony Khan: Ricky Starks Is Still Under Contract With AEW

Tony Khan has confirmed that Ricky Starks is still under contract with All Elite Wrestling .

On Tuesday evening some websites reported that Ricky Starks contract with AEW had expired in July and he was WWE-bound. It has now been confirmed that for the time being that is not the case.

All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan was asked about Starks’ status today on the All In Media Call . Khan confirmed that Starks is still under contract with AEW and considers him to be a well-regarded member of the roster.

“Well, Ricky’s been a great star in AEW,” Tony Khan said. “He’s been a champion here and has had great matches here. And I think very highly of Ricky. He’s somebody that has been here for several years, and he’s under contract in AEW, he’s a well-regarded wrestler here in AEW.”
