Cody Rhodes Accuses Grayson Waller Of Using Austin Theory On WWE SmackDown

Cody Rhodes fired back when Grayson Waller took some shots at Kevin Owens on WWE SmackDown .

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes appeared on The Grayson Waller Effect on the August 23 episode of WWE SmackDown. He discussed his upcoming match against Kevin Owens at WWE Bash in Berlin.

Waller highlighted Owens’ history of turning on people that he was close to. Rhodes responded by accusing Waller of using his tag team partner, Austin Theory, and he pointed out the issues the team had been having. Rhodes also directly told Theory that Waller was using him.

Kevin Owens then interrupted and responded to Waller, saying that the people he had turned on had it coming, other than Kingston. He made it clear that he would not treat Cody Rhodes that way, as they had a good relationship. Owens also stated that he wanted to face Theory ad Waller in a tag team match.

Nick Aldis then confirmed that Rhodes and Owens would face Theory and Waller in the main event.
