AEW Rampage Results (8/23): Roderick Strong, Mina Shirakawa, More

All Elite Wrestling is back again with another star-studded show with the August 23 episode of AEW Rampage .

Tonight’s show will see The Conglomeration taking on Brian Cage, Johnny TV, and The Beast Mortos in a trios match, Roderick Strong and Fuego Del Sol going at it in singles action, and Mina Shirakawa and Robyn Renegade going at it.

Elsewhere in the night, The Von Erichs and The Outrunners will face off, and we’ll also see the Gates of Agony and Iron Savages go at it in tag team action.

AEW Rampage Results

Match 1: The Conglomeration defeats The Beast Mortos, Johnny TV & Brian Cage via submission

The opening match of the night didn’t last too long, even though Mortos and crew looked like they’d come out on top early on. After getting into the match, Cage began overpowering everyone he faced, including Kyle O’Reilly. After O’Reilly was able to get some momentum going, however, things flipped. In the end, O’Reilly trapped Johnny TV on the mat and forced him to tap out for the win.

Match 2: Roderick Strong defeats Fuego del Sol via pinfall

This one didn’t last long at all, as Strong took some hits early from Fuego but then began dominating. Despite the crowd chanting for Fuego, Strong ended the match almost immediately after hurling Fuego into the top turnbuckle, then hitting his finisher for a dominant victory.

Match 3: Mina Shirakawa defeats Robyn Renegade via submission

Mina took her time coming down to the ring and spent even more time in the ring taunting and showboating as she went after Renegade’s leg. Robyn was able to turn the tables for a bit, however, as she dropped Shirakawa and then threw her into the corner for some double knees.

With the crowd booing Renegade, Mina was able to get up and get Robyn back down to the ground and lock in a figure four. Robyn found the rope and tried to flip out of the move, but Mina quickly rolled the pair into another figure four, which Robyn eventually tapped out of.

Match 4: Gates of Agony defeat Iron Savages via pinfall

Bronson started this match with a couple of big hits but eventually got thrown into the corner and hit with a series of big chops. Things eventually broke down into a gigantic brawl, and ended after the Gates of Agony cornered Bronson and then dropped him with a big finisher for the pin and win.

Match 5: The Von Erichs defeat The Outrunners via pinfall

The Von Erichs closed out the night by walking out of AEW Rampage with a big win. Toward the end of the match, the group was able to unite in the ring and hit The Outrunners with their signature finisher, The Claw. This was more than enough to end the match, and the group pinned everyone for a win.

After the match, The Kingdom and Gates of Agony came down to the ring and attacked the Von Erichs, but the group were backed up by Dustin Rhodes, Sammy Guevara, and The Conglomeration that resulted in a massive brawl to close out the show.
