Wes Lee vs. Zachary Wentz Set For WWE NXT No Mercy

Former tag team partners will clash at WWE NXT No Mercy .

Wes Lee previously turned on TNA’s Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel , setting the stage for a bout between the former teammates at NXT No Mercy. However, the match had not been confirmed.

On the August 27 episode of WWE NXT, Zachary Wentz and Wes Lee came face-to-face one last time ahead of NXT No Mercy. Wentz was heated right away, as he was upset about Lee’s betrayal. Lee said that he was a bigger star than Wentz, and he claimed that Wentz was jealous of him. He stated that they were on different levels. Wentz replied by saying that he was proud of Lee. He admitted that he messed up, as he ruined their run as MSK. Wentz said that he owned up to his mistakes, and he had grown up.

Lee reiterated that he and Wentz were not on the same level. Wentz brought up how Lee had nearly quit NXT multiple times. He pointed out how he had been there for Lee time and time again. Wentz said that they were brothers. Lee told Wentz that he would show him that they were on different levels.

Wentz fired back by saying that Lee had underestimated him. He highlighted the success that he has had in TNA. Lee then told Wentz to forget their friendship, and he would show him why he was a WWE superstar and Wentz was just a TNA wrestler. Wentz said that this TNA wrestler was going to give him a beating at No Mercy.
