Kevin Owens On CM Punk: We Never Talk, We’re Not Friends

Kevin Owens and CM Punk are not friends.

CM Punk returned to WWE at WWE Survivor Series, and plenty of members of the roster have spoken highly of him ever since. However, Punk is a polarizing figure in the wrestling world for a variety of reasons. Some members of the roster have been less than enthusiastic about his return.

Speaking with Mail Sport , Kevin Owens was asked about CM Punk, and he said that they’re not friends.

“We never talk,” Kevin Owens said. “We have no reason to talk. We’re not friends. We’re not, we don’t, you know, we’re just not, I don’t know. We have no reason to talk. If we work together, we will talk, but just not a thing we do.”

Kevin Owens: We’re Not Each Other’s Type Of People

Owens was previously asked about CM Punk when speaking with Gorilla Position , and he said that they were not each other’s type of people.

“Well, we have no relationship,” Kevin Owens said. “No. We’re not each other’s type of people, I don’t think. There’s like a ten-foot vicinity, I’d say, that if we enter in, then we have to kind of, ‘Hey, hi.’ Otherwise, we don’t, and that’s fine. It’s perfectly fine the way it is.”

When asked about people saying that Punk had changed, Owens replied, “I don’t know that, and I don’t care, to be honest. He is who he is, I am who I am, and it’s fine that way.”
