TNA X-Division Champion Zachary Wentz took on Wes Lee in a heated match at WWE NXT No Mercy .

At NXT No Mercy, Wes Lee battled his former friend and tag team partner, TNA’s Zachary Wentz. Wentz came to the ring with the TNA X-Division Championship, which he won in an Ultimate X match Friday night at TNA Emergence.

Wentz and Frazer batted back and forth in a hard-fought bout. In the closing moments, Lee was about to hit Wentz with a chair, but TNA star Trey Miguel showed up and took the chair from him. The distraction helped Wentz rally with a Destroyer, and he put Lee down for the count with the UFO.

With the win at NXT No Mercy, Wentz got some payback for Wentz betraying him and Miguel on the August 6 episode of NXT. Lee has turned his back on his former teammates. He has also claimed that they were riding his coattails and that he was destined for true stardom.

Here’s how the match broke down courtesy of our play-by-play coverage:

Wentz gets knocked into the commentary desk, which hilariously falls apart. Lee goes up top and lands a double stomp to the floor. Wentz isn’t moving. Lee sends Wentz into the ring post. As Wentz is lying against the ring post, Lee goes for a chair, tossing the TNA X-Division Championship on the ground in the process. Trey Miguel appears and snatches the chair away from Lee. Lee turns around, and Wentz leaps off the apron and hits a Canadian Destroyer on the floor. Wentz sends Lee to the ring and hits the UFO Cutter for the win!
