Drew McIntyre Recalls Taking Picture With Jack Perry, Calls Him A Lovely Lad

Drew McIntyre recently sparked up plenty of buzz when he shared a picture with All Elite Wrestling star Jack Perry , something the WWE superstar says happened in the spur of the moment.

McIntyre’s picture with Perry made the rounds on social media, as “The Scottish Warrior” has been locked in a bitter feud with CM Punk. Punk was previously involved in a backstage incident with Jack Perry at AEW All In 2023 that led to his termination from the company. He then returned to WWE at WWE Survivor Series.

Speaking to Gorilla Position , McIntyre was asked about the picture with Jack Perry. He said that they happened to be on the same flight, and they decided to take a picture. (H/t Andrew Thompon of POST Wrestling )

“[We were] on the same flight,” Drew McIntyre said. “He was just right in front of me. I had a chat with him. Lovely lad. His girlfriend’s really nice, flying to L.A. and just said, ‘Hey, we should take a picture together. We’re both wrestlers. I’ll put it on the internet. Give ya a little rub (laughs),’ and people reacted crazy.

CM Punk then beat Drew McIntyre in a Strap Match at WWE Bash in Berlin.
