Triple H Comments On Giulia’s Debut In NXT

Triple H thinks Giulia is a future star in WWE following her debut at NXT No Mercy.

At the PLE last night, NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez defended her title against Jaida Parker. She won the match and retained her belt, but it was the aftermath that had people talking.

Following the win, Roxanne Perez was confronted by a debuting Giulia . The Japanese-Italian star appeared in the crowd at NXT Stand and Deliver back in April , although she has since signed on with the company full-time.

The crowd were electric as she made her way down to the ring. Giulia confronted Roxanne Perez in the ring, seemingly with the goal of taking the NXT Women’s Championship away from her. This will likely lead to a title match down the line, something Triple H will absolutely be delighted about.

Triple H took to Twitter following the surprise appearance by Giulia. He called the former Stardom wrestler an “absolute star with a bright future”, before stating that it was a great time to be part of the women’s division in NXT right now.

Triple H On How Working With TNA Benefits Both Companies

Triple H is also high on NXT working with TNA, noting that it helps both companies to grow.

At the WWE SummerSlam Post-Show , Triple H was asked to comment on why WWE decided to pursue a relationship with TNA and what fans could expect from it.

“I think as we’ve said before, we’re open for business,” he said. “Whether that’s what you see in NXT with TNA, or whether that’s different international opportunities. We’re gonna look at what’s best for WWE, but how does that benefit us? How does it benefit them? How does it benefit us? I think there’s opportunities. As you look at NXT, a lot of those kids are young, and what they really need is repetitions. They need opportunities to go do. We can only create so many of them.

“When we have opportunities to partner with others, help their business at the same time, get them on a platform that is seen by so many more people, use the strength and the power of our brand across social media to help them, I think you’ll see more of that. So when we have the opportunity to help them while at the same point in time, getting the future of not just us, the future of this business, more opportunities and more reps to improve what they do as performers, to improve what they do on every aspect of what they go out day in and day out and do.”
