Hammerstone Makes Surprise Appearance On WWE NXT, Loses To Oba Femi

The crossover between NXT and TNA continued on the September 10 episode of WWE NXT.

Tony D’Angelo paid a mysterious figure to take out NXT North American Champion Oba Femi, and this individual was revealed to be Hammerstone (Alex Hammerstone). He was Femi’s mystery opponent on Tuesday night. The appearance marked Hammerstone’s NXT debut.

Hammerstone brought the fight to the champion, and he even chokeslammed Femi. Femi and Hammerstone duked it out, and the two powerhouses kept going back and forth. In the end, Femi emerged victorious with a thunderous slam, so he foiled D’Angelo’s plot. D’Angelo was shown watching backstage, and he was clearly disappointed.

Hammerstone signed with TNA earlier in 2024. He is a former MLW World Heavyweight Champion and MLW National Openweight Champion.
