Dave Bautista: CM Punk’s Potential As An Actor Is Unlimited

CM Punk has already ventured into acting, as he starred in Girl on Third Floor and Heels , and Dave Bautista thinks his potential is unlimited.

BuzzFeed Celeb posted a video in which Dave Bautista answered some questions. Among others, he was asked to name a WWE star that he thought would be good at acting.

“You know who I think is really overlooked as an actor? I don’t know if he hasn’t pursued it as much as he’d like to because he’s still heavily pursuing professional wrestling? CM Punk, Phil Brooks,” he said. “His potential in acting is pretty unlimited. I really want to see more from him in acting, and I’d actually love to work with him.

“I think he has a passion for acting, but I think still his heart is in professional wrestling, and until he’s able to let that go a little bit, he’ll never be able to fully envelop himself in acting. But I think he’s a great actor.”

CM Punk returned to the ring at WWE SummerSlam, and he continues to feud with Drew McIntyre. They will clash in a Hell in a Cell match at WWE Bad Blood.
