Trios Match, Chris Jericho vs. Orange Cassidy Set For 9/18 AEW Dynamite

The September 18 episode of AEW Dynamite will feature a star-studded trios match.

In a tweet, Tony Khan confirmed that Will Ospreay, Kyle Fletcher, and Konosuke Takeshita will face Kazuchika Okada and the Young Bucks. Ospreay and Fletcher will challenge the Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam.

Plus, Orange Cassidy and Chris Jericho will continue their rivalry on the September 18 episode of AEW Dynamite .

Jericho has set his sights on Cassidy in recent weeks. He has been determined to make Cassidy pay him the $7,000 he’s owed from their feud in 2020. On the September 11 episode of AEW Dynamite, Jericho revealed the contents of Cassidy’s backpack, which he previously stole. Cassidy had a picture of Best Friends inside, and Jericho told him that there were no friends in wrestling.

Cassidy appeared on the video screen and said that he had Jericho’s money. He then turned to Mark Briscoe and Kyle O’Reilly, who dumped the money, all in coins, into Jericho’s Bentley.

AEW later confirmed that Jericho will face Cassidy on the September 18 episode of AEW Dynamite.

As of this writing, no other matches or segments have been announced. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs on September 18.
