Cody Rhodes: Triple H Was Ahead Of The Curve, I Take The Field For Him With Immense Pride

WWE is being led by Nick Khan and the King of Kings Triple H . It has been over two years since Triple H became the head of creative along with being the Chief Content Officer. Recently, the current WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes shared his thoughts on the 14-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

ESPN interviewed Rhodes for a feature on the 15 most influential people in boxing, MMA and wrestling. Triple H made the list at #5, and Rhodes shared his thoughts on Triple H and how he has evolved professional wrestling.

“Triple H in the ring had world-champion instincts long before he ever was one,” WWE champion Cody Rhodes told ESPN. “He applies those instincts expertly today as chief content officer. He was also amongst a handful of players ahead of the curve in terms of evolving the sport which he showcased with the NXT black-and-gold era.”

The American Nightmare also mentioned that once Nick Khan and The King of Kings took over WWE, Triple H played a major role in the immense success of the company. Cody Rhodes also mentioned that Triple H guided the promotion in achieving massive television ratings and the fans began to engage more in social media.

“When the moment came for him to take over with Nick Khan and lead the ship creatively, he helped guide WWE to massive television ratings and social engagement increases,” Rhodes said. “I take the field for him with immense pride.”
