    AEW Collision Results – September 14, 2024

    This week’s episode of AEW Collision kicks off with Jack Perry arriving in his bus to defend the TNT Championship against Christopher Daniels.

    Jack Perry defeated Christopher Daniels to retain the TNT Championship

    • Jack Perry hits Christopher Daniels with a running knee to score the pinfall victory.

    As Perry leaves the building, he tells the cameraman that the people who don’t like him are the people who can’t handle the truth.

    A video package plays recapping what happened to Bryan Danielson at AEW All Out.

    Wheeler Yuta is backstage. Yuta says out of respect to Bryan Danielson he doesn’t want to share too much about his condition but says he’s doing the best he can. Yuta says he hasn’t talked to any of the other guys.

    Wheeler says he doesn’t take his opponent Anthony Henry lightly tonight. Yuta says Danielson taught him one of the best things about pro wrestling is while you’re in the ring everything else can be put on pause and he’s gonna try to do that tonight.

    Mark Briscoe, Kyle O’Reilly, and Hologram defeated The Beast Mortos and The Premier Athletes (w/ Smart Mark Sterling)

    • Hologram scores the pinfall victory on Tony Nese for his team.

    The Beast Mortos attacks Hologram after the match but Mark Briscoe and Kyle O’Reilly make the save. O’Reilly says he wants a match with Mortos.

    A video package plays recapping some of AEW’s involvement at last night’s CMLL 91st Anniversary show. Orange Cassidy is backstage and is attacked by The Learning Tree. Jericho breaks the picture he stole from Cassidy over his head.

    Why is Stokely Hathaway scouting the tag team division?

    An odd video package plays with Stokely Hathaway looking over some of AEW’s best tag team matches on burnt DVDs. It’s unknown what this tease could be leading to.

    Mariah May is backstage. May says she’s not doing her championship celebration in Dayton, Ohio. May reflects on the good times she’s had with Mina Shirakawa and says she needs her in AEW. Yuka Sakazaki comes in and introduces herself and says she wants her belt. May says she can get in line and she’ll rip her head off.

    Wheeler Yuta defeated Anthony Henry (w/ Beef)

    • Wheeler Yuta locks Anthony Henry in Cattle Mutilation to win the match via submission.

    Serena Deeb and Queen Aminata are backstage. Deeb gives Aminata backhanded compliments regarding her match with Mariah May on Dynamite. Deeb says she’s forgiving and if she wants advice she can come to her locker room. Queen Aminata says she doesn’t have time for this right now as she has a match tonight. Deeb proceeds to cut a promo on Yuka Sakazaki who she’ll face later tonight.

    A vignette airs for Anna Jay who is returning from STARDOM in Japan. She makes a case for coming after some championship gold in AEW sooner rather than later.

    Private Party and Kommaner (w/ Alex Abrahantes) defeated Ren Jones, Jon Cruz, and Lord Crewe

    • Private Party hit Gin and Juice on Ren Jones to pick up the victory for their team.

    Nigel McGuinness cuts a promo on Bryan Danielson from the commentary table and plays a video package of the history the two men had in Ring of Honor.

    Women’s action up next on AEW Collision

    Mariah May joins commentary for the next match.

    Yuka Sakazaki defeated Serena Deeb

    • Yuka Sakazaki hit Serena Deeb with Magic Girl Splash to score the pinfall victory.

    Mariah May attacks Yuka Sakazaki on the stage, but Sakazaki gets the better of her.

    A vignette airs for The Outrunners.

    Top Flight, Action Andretti, and Leila Grey are outside talking about a great meal they just had. Action Andretti is mad that they’ve all lost matches lately. The group tries to calm him down but it doesn’t really work. Andretti says they need a match against House of Black to prove themselves.

    Juice Robinson and The Gunns defeated Cage of Agony

    • Juice Robinson hits a Front Chancery on Brian Cage to score the pinfall victory for his team.

    Backstage Queen Aminata mocks Serena Deeb over losing her match tonight as payback to what Deeb said to her earlier in the evening.

    Queen Aminata defeated Robyn Renegade

    • Queen Aminata hits Robyn Renegade with the Brain Drain to score the pinfall victory.

    Deeb attacks Aminata after the match and tries to injure her knee.

    We briefly hear from House of Black who seemingly accept the challenges from both The Righteous and Top Flight that have been laid out in the past 48 hours.

    It’s time for the main event!

    FTR defeated The Grizzled Young Veterans

    • Dax Harwood locks the Sharpshooter on James Drake to get the tap-out victory for his team.

    Grizzled Young Veterans attack FTR after the match and The Outrunners make the save. FTR and The Outrunners shake hands as AEW Collision goes off the air.
