MLW Fightland Results (9/14/24): Opera Cup Winner Crowned

On September 14, Major League Wrestling presented their MLW Fightland event from Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia.

Among other matches, Satoshi Kojima defended the MLW World Heavyweight Championship against Mads Krule Krugger. Plus, the event featured the finals of the Opera Cup.

The results, courtesy of Fightful , are as follows:

• KENTA defeated TJP in an Opera Cup Semi-Final.
• In a promo, Mads Krule Krugger hyped up his match against Satoshi Kojima.
• Mistico defeated Bad Dude Tito Escondido in an Opera Cup Semi-Final.
• Donovan Dijak defeated Timothy Thatcher.
• MSL said that he had many open contracts for Dijak, who called out Matt Riddle and Satoshi Kojima. Dijak stated that he would fight anyone.
• The Andersons (Brock Anderson & CW Anderson) defeated Bomaye Fight Club (Alex Kane & Mr. Thomas) after JBL interfered, as did Brett Ryan Gosselin and Bobby Fish. Kevin Knight got involved as well.
• Brock Anderson, CW Anderson, Brett Ryan Gosselin, and Bobby Fish cut a promo and announced that they would be called The Rogue Horsemen.
• MLW National Openweight Champion Bad Dude Tito Escondido and Matthew Justice got into a confrontation backstage.
• Okumura defeated Adam Priest.
• CONTRA Unit came out and confronted Okumura, but AKIRA attacked them.
• Matt Riddle spoke with Satoshi Kojima backstage and wished him luck. Tom Lawlor and MSL came up and confronted Riddle. Riddle agreed to put his world title shot on the line in his match against Lawlor.
• MLW World Heavyweight Championship : Satoshi Kojima (c) defeated Mads Krule Krugger via DQ after Krugger threw a fireball. Krugger took the title and was confronted by Matt Riddle. AKIRA attacked Krugger.
• Mistico defeated KENTA in the Opera Cup Finals.
