NJPW Participating In Antonio Inoki Memorial Event In December

Antonio Inoki will be honored with a special memorial event in December, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling is set to participate.

NJPW highlighted how the Antonio Inoki Memorial Event was announced at a press conference on September 11. The show will be held in Shanghai on December 14. NJPW, the Inoki Genome Federation,  Dragon Fighting Wrestling, Infin Pro-Wrestling, and the Hong Kong Wrestling Federation will all participate.

Speaking at the press conference, NJPW Chairman Naoki Sugabayashi said, ‘It’s an honor to be participating in this event. NJPW’s wrestlers will be giving all they have to ensure a great event for the Shanghai fans.”

Inoki passed away in 2022. Before his passing, NJPW planned to announce him as their Honorary Chairman for life.
