Je’Von Evans Reacts To Match With Randy Orton On NXT

Je’Von Evans wants to take down the legend of Randy Orton when they face off in NXT.

This week on NXT, a huge match was announced to take place on October 8th. CM Punk made an appearance alongside Roxanne Perez . He was announced as the special guest referee for the NXT Championship match between Ethan Page and Trick Williams.

However, the biggest news coming out of the show involved Randy Orton and Je’Von Evans. A match between the pair was set up for the October 8 episode of NXT.

While CM Punk will appear on the first CW episode of NXT, Randy Orton is booked for a week after. The former WWE Champion has announced that he will wrestle Je’Von Evans, in his first match in NXT in over a decade.

On Twitter , Randy Orton teased facing Je’Von Evans. He wrote, “Hey Je’Von – Want to know who your opponent is? See you in St. Louis on October 8th kid #wwenxt “.

Je’Von replied to this in two ways. The first was on Twitter, where he vowed to take Orton “off the top” of WWE by beating him in NXT.

He followed it up with a backstage promo after NXT . He gave respect to Randy Orton, but warned he was going to “put down” the legend.

“Usually, the Young OG is the one trying to call people out. But the triple OG called me out! The Legend Killer. It’s crazy, because in my eyes, I’m a future legend. But I ain’t getting killed, that’s for damned sure. Randy; all love, all respect, but sometimes the legend gotta go down. I’m the one whose gonna put him down.”
