Matt Cardona will meet PCO at TNA Bound For Glory, in a match type he wasn’t expecting.

The champions were supposed to face off at TNA Emergence last month. However, injuries meant that Cardona was not fit to wrestler. He found a replacement in Shera for the match, who failed to take down the Canadian star in Kentucky.

Now, Cardona will get his match with PCO. However, it is not quite what he expected. Matt Cardona will wrestle PCO at TNA Bound for Glory, with both the TNA Digital Media and Canadian International Wrestling Championships on the line for the match.

Santino Marella, who is the TNA Director of Authority, became sick of Matt Cardona’s antics on Impact last night. He revealed that Matt Cardona will face PCO at Bound for Glory, but that it will be in a “Monster’s Ball Match”.

The match was innovated by Abyss, although it is ostensibly a no-disqualification, or hardcore match. This will suit the ultra-violent PCO, as he takes on “King of the Death Match” Matt Cardona at Bound for Glory.

In a backstage promo on TNA Impact, Santino Marella said:

“I’m sick of your bullshit. You’re a punk!” Santino Marella told Cardona. “But, I’ve got good news for you. You want PCO? At Bound for Glory, you’ve got PCO! In a Monster’s Ball Match!”

When Cardona argued that he didn’t agree, Marella flashed his badge and said “You don’t have to agree.”

Matt Cardona will face PCO at TNA Bound for Glory 2024 on October 26th, 2024. The event takes place at the Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit, Michigan.
