Kofi Kingston To Make Rare Indie Appearance With Photo Op At Ego Pro Chicago Show

WWE star Kofi Kingston will make a rare appearance at an independent event.

Ego Pro Chicago announced that Kofi Kingston will do a limited photo op at their Return To The Forge event on October 5. More information about the show is available here .

Sean Ros Sapp of Fightful then reported that he was told that 100% of Kingston’s meet-and-greet money would go to NavarroFarm.org, a farm that is for adults and children with special needs.

Kingston remains active on WWE RAW, and he continues to team up with Xavier Woods.

Kofi Kingston On KofiMania

Kingston previously looked back on KofiMania , his journey to the WWE Championship in 2019. Speaking with WrestleZone , Kingston commented on how his WrestleMania 35 match against Daniel Bryan encapsulated the type of wrestler he tries to be in the ring.

“Probably the KofiMania match with Daniel Bryan, I’d imagine,” he noted. “But then you gotta go back and watch your history with the past decade and really understand what that match actually meant and what the struggle was. I’ll give you that one before I change my answer.” [laughs]
