The Miz Turns On R-Truth On 9/30 WWE RAW

The Miz has turned on R-Truth on WWE RAW, seemingly ending their run as The Awesome Truth.

During Monday’s episode of WWE RAW , Truth returned in a backstage segment to reunite with his longtime tag team partner The Miz. Miz was backstage along with Braun Strowman, where he was about to chastise Strowman for interrupting him before Truth interrupted him.

Truth — who has been absent since Bronson Reed attacked him on the August 12 episode of WWE Raw — then spoke with The Miz about why he didn’t tell his partner that he’d be here. Truth said he didn’t like the way that Karrion Kross had been treating his partner, and that he’d gotten them a match as a result.

Later in the show, The Miz and R-Truth faced the Authors of Pain. The Miz then shocked Truth and the WWE Universe by kicking his partner, turning on him in the process. He proceeded to walk to the back, and the Authors of Pain pinned Truth for the win.
