Konosuke Takeshita attacked Will Ospreay and Ricochet on AEW Dynamite , so their match ended without a clear winner.

On the October 2 episode of AEW Dynamite, Will Ospreay defended the AEW International Championship against Ricochet in a highly anticipated, as the two stars had sensational clashes earlier in their careers.

Ospreay and Ricochet battled it out in a thrilling match, and they threw everything they had at each other. The two competitors were quite familiar with each other, as they traded counters throughout the contest. In one highlight, Ricochet hit Ospreay’s own Hidden Blade and a Shooting Star Press.

Ospreay fired up with a Hidden Blade, and he collapsed on Ricochet. Both men were pinned, as their shoulders were down. The match was ruled a no contest, but both men made it clear that they wanted to continue. Announcer Justin Roberts announced that the match would indeed continue. They traded blows, and Ospreay hit the Hidden Blade again.

However, Konosuke Takeshita attacked Ospreay. He then dropped Ricochet with a Burning Thunder and posed with the AEW International Championship.
