    Review: A

We promised a murder on live TV, and we got it. Both men bled buckets as they (potentially) culminated their blood feud. We have seen Punk bleed buckets in the past (see Raven vs. Punk from ROH), but McIntyre showed a new side of brutality tonight, trying to blind Punk with a screw, of all things. Its rare to see such a bloody contest in WWE, with good reason. Blood doesn’t mean anything if it happens in every segment. This is the match and angle that needed it. Not much can be said here other than that you have to see this match.

WWE Women’s Title: Nia Jax (c) vs. Bayley

Bayley attacks Jax . Jax runs over Bayley. Jax flattens Bayley with a body block. Jax traps Bayley on a single leg crab. Bayley fights out of it. Bayley lands a leg drop. Suicide dive by Bayley. Jax powerbombs Bayley on the steps, then sends her into the barricade.

After a series of reversals, Bayley Samoan drops Jax! Jax kicks out. Jax falls on the referee, taking her out. Bayley drops Jac with the Rose Plant, but there is no referee. Tiffany Stratton runs down to the ring with the MITB briefcase. Stratton attacks Bayley. Jax sits up and thinks Stratton is trying to cash. Stratton pleads with Jax. Bayley rolls up Jax. Jax kicks out. Bayley goes up top. Stratton tosses the briefcase at Bayley. After the distraction, Jax hits a Samoan drop off the top. Jax crushes Bayley with the Annialiator for the win.

Winner and STILL WWE Women’s Champion, Nia Jax!

    Grade: B+

Nia Jax has come a long way. This match wasn’t just good; it was really good, save for Jax’s attempted rana, which was hysterical. Jax dismantles Bayley and tosses her all over the ring like a ragdoll. Bayley fought valiantly until it became Tiffy time once again, and Stratton saved the queen’s championship. This writer needs to see that again. This may have been Nia Jax’s best match to date. At this point, Jax is the most believable women’s super heavyweight in WWE. Even thought we didn’t get a cash in from Stratton, its clearly coming soon. Jax is going to

    Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor

Priest is all over Bálor, sending him out of the ring. Priest charges in and eats a sling blade out on the floor. Bálor works over Priest. Priest fires up and lands a lariat for a near fall. Winner-Damian Priest

    Grade: C+

    The Game Joins Bad Blood

Triple H announces that at Crown Jewel, there will be an annual event where both men’s and women’s champions will face off. The winners will be crowned as the Crowned Jewel Champion. Triple H unveils the title belt, which is covered in diamonds. World Heavyweight Champion Gunther interrupts. Gunther puts himself over, then notes that Bill Goldberg is in the crowd. Gunther says he wants to clarify something. A few weeks ago, Gunther said Bill Goldberg was his favorite wrestler. Gunther lied. Gunther dumps on Goldberg. After realizing that Goldberg’s son Gage is sitting next to him, Gunther says that he hopes Goldberg is a better father than a professional wrestler. Goldberg hops the barricade. Security swarms. Sami Zayn hits the ring and attacks Gunther.

    Grade: B+

Fun segment. Fantastic use of a legend that most of us don’t want to see. Gold stars for everyone involved. This isn’t the first time WWE created a title for a Saudi show, but the new championship looks phenomenal- ly like the AEW Championship. Is there a world where WWE isn’t using this as an opportunity to troll AEW? Making a title that means nothing that will probably never be seen again just for this?

Women’s Championship Match: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley (Dominik Mysterio suspended above the ring in a shark cage)

Dominik is terrified as he’s raised above the ring in the shark cage. Ripley works over Morgan after sending Morgan out of the ring. Morgan slams Ripley’s knee into the steps. Morgan works over Ripley’s injured knee. Diving Meteora by Morgan. Ripley kicks out.
