Gunther Mocks Goldberg, Goldberg Says ‘You’re Next’ At WWE Bad Blood

World Heavyweight Champion Gunther took some shots at Goldberg at WWE Bad Blood , and Goldberg tried to confront him.

Gunther interrupted Triple H at WWE Bad Blood after the WWE Chief Content Officer unveiled the Crown Jewel Championship. After looking forward to winning the title, Gunther turned his attention to the legends who were in attendance.

“He “The Ring General” set his sights on aGoldberg, who was at ringside, by calling him a one-trick pony. Gunther also told Goldberg’s son Gage that he hoped Goldberg was a better father than he was a professional wrestler. Goldberg hopped the barricade, but officials held him back.

Sami Zayn then attacked Gunther from behind. Gunther fled, and Goldberg celebrated with the Atlanta crowd. The legend also said, “You’re next, boy,” possibly teasing that Gunther was in his sights.

Goldberg last wrestled at WWE Elimination Chamber 2022, where he lost to Roman Reigns. There is no word on when he may return to WWE programming following WWE Bad Blood.
