Ethan Page Appears On 10/7 WWE RAW, Says CM Punk Cost Him The NXT Title

Former NXT Champion Ethan Page appeared on the October 7 episode of WWE RAW .

Page appeared in a backstage segment on Monday. He approached RAW General Manager Adam Pearce. Page said that he wanted to talk business, as he claimed that CM Punk cost him the NXT Championship. He told Pearce that he wanted to course-correct the whole thing.

Pearce noted that making Punk the special referee in the title match was Ava’s decision, and the NXT General Manager told Page that she was flattered that Page came so far to complain. Sexyy Red interrupted and greeted Ava.

Page lost the title to Trick Williams on the October 1 episode of WWE NXT, and Punk was the special referee.

Earlier in the show on Monday, Punk noted that he was banged up after his Hell in a Cell match against Drew McIntyre. He then stated that he would be taking some time to go home.
