WWE SmackDown Preview For October 11: Roman Reigns Sounds Off, United States Title Match

It’s almost time for WWE SmackDown!

WWE presents the latest edition of SmackDown from Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. Roman Rhodes, Cody Rhodes, Bayley, Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Kevin Owens are advertised to appear.

Here’s what’s on tap for the October 11 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill (c) vs. Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

Fresh off their win in a six-woman tag team match this past Tuesday on NXT, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will return to WWE SmackDown to defend their titles against Meta Four’s Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson.

Ms. Lash and Ms. Jackson had confronted the champs in the aftermath of their and Kelani Jordan’s win against Fatal Influence on NXT. Bianca and Jade will take on Damage CTRL’s Kairi Sane and IYO SKY on the October 14 episode of WWE RAW.

LA Knight (c) vs. Carmelo Hayes – United States Championship on WWE SmackDown

LA Knight teased a title match against the winner of AJ Styles and Carmelo Hayes last week on WWE SmackDown. Unfortunately for Styles, the Phenomenal One was unable to complete the match due to an injury , making HIM the number one contender to the United States title.

The aftermath of Kevin Owens’ assault on Cody Rhodes

Kevin Owens seemingly attacked Cody Rhodes after WWE Bad Blood. WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H announced an internal investigation into the matter.

Roman Reigns sounds off on WWE SmackDown

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes picked up a huge win against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at WWE Bad Blood . Both men witnessed the return of The Rock following the match’s conclusion.

The OTC returns to the blue brand tonight. What will Roman have to say to the WWE Universe? We will find out.
