Rico Fails To Help MxM Collection Defeat The Acclaimed

MxM Collection got some help from none other than Rico tonight, but it wasn’t enough to take down The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn in an AEW WrestleDream Zero Hour pre-show match.

After feuding for the past few weeks, MxM Collection wanted nothing more than to beat The Acclaimed, and looked to none other than Rico — formerly known as Rico Constantino during his time in WWE — to do it. In the match, Rico looked to help MxM Collection finally put an end to scissoring forever, but it was not to be. Throughout the bout, MxM Collection seemed on the back foot, and were unable to ever get in control of things.

Late in the match, Constantino got into the match, and unfortunately backed right into none other than Billy Gunn. After going for a spin kick that Gunn blocked, Gunn hit the Fameasser on Rico. Mansoor was checking on his teammates before Anthony Bowens hit him with the Arrival, followed by a Mic Drop from Max Caster for the win.
