The Miz Can’t Believe He Lost To R-Truth

The Miz cannot believe he got pinned by R-Truth on Raw.

The pair came to a head after The Miz turned on his partner two weeks ago. They wrestled on Raw, with R-Truth still not believing his former friend attacked him. They shook hands before the bout. However, they were soon interrupted by the Wyatt Sicks logo and the Final Testament appearing at ringside. This distracted The Miz. Because of his shock, it allowed him to be rolled up and pinned by R-Truth in a short bout.

In a backstage interview on YouTube , The Miz was flabbergasted about losing to his former partner on Raw.

The Miz got too comfortable

“I shook his hand, Jackie. I shook his hand.” The Miz said. “He extended his hand. I waited—I looked at him. Trying to figure out what he was thinking. I saw it in his eyes—he meant it. I glanced at the audience, and they were saying, ‘Shake his hand.’ So I shook his hand.”

“I looked him in the eye and said, ‘Okay, let’s do this match.’ You know what? What’s gonna happen? We’re gonna blow the roof off of St. Louis, and then we’re gonna go our separate ways. You’re gonna go do your comedy stuff, and I’m gonna go back to being the Grand Slam champion that I am.”

“And what happened, Jackie? I shook his hand, and he got me. He got me. I got too comfortable, wasn’t paying attention. Is that what a good guy does, Jackie? When I looked, there was someone outside. Did I think Karrion Kross was gonna come out? No. I’m like, ‘What is he doing here?’ Then he rolls me up—one, two, three.”

“I shook his hand. And now they’re chanting, ‘Miz, you suck.’ I shook his hand.”
