AEW Women’s World Title Eliminator Match Set For AEW Battle of The Belts XII

The first match has been announced for AEW Battle of the Belts XII .

On the October 16 episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May expressed her frustration in a backstage interview, and Anna Jay confronted her. Jay got in May’s face, and the situation escalated. Christopher Daniels got involved, and Jay accidentally hit him. AEW then announced that May will face Jay in an AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Match at AEW Battle of the Belts XII.

Jay has scored wins against Robyn Renegade and Harley Cameron in recent weeks since she returned from her run in STARDOM. May is coming off a successful defense against Willow Nightingale at AEW WrestleDream.
