Kurt Angle Pays Tribute To One Direction’s Liam Payne

Kurt Angle has taken to social media to pay his respects to One Direction’s Liam Payne who recently passed away.

Liam Payne passed away on October 16 at the age of 31. Payne was a member of the popular musical act One Direction.

Payne reported passed away due to falling from the third floor of his hotel balcony.

The WWE Hall of Famer took to social media this afternoon to pay tribute to Payne who he wrestled while working for TNA Wrestling during 1D Day, tweeting out:

“RIP @LiamPayne ….it was an honor to step in the ring with you during 1 D Day! *Seven prayer emojis,*” Kurt Angle said in a post.

TNA Wrestling ‘s United Kingdom social media page also paid tribute to Payne today, tweeting out:

“We join the world in mourning Liam Payne – a wonderful man and artist. Liam was a huge wrestling fan and we were honoured to be able to work with him on 1D Day when he wrestled, and beat, @RealKurtAngle,” TNA Wrestling UK said in a post.
