Robert Stone says the working relationship between TNA and WWE would have been impossible years ago.

Speaking on Casual Conversations with The Classic (via The Wrestling Classic ), Robert Stone, who had a run as Robbie E in TNA, was asked to comment on the relationship between WWE and TNA.

“I mean, it’s so cool, Robert Stone said. “I did a post on Instagram last week, it was a picture of me wrestling AJ Styles, and it was from 2012. Someone tweeted it to me, and it made me go, in that time; what’s going on now would have been impossible. You never would have thought something like this would happen, ever, and the fact that it is unreal, it’s surreal.

“It’s just so cool for the wrestling fans. People say, ‘I want to see this guy versus this guy,’ ‘No, that will never happen.’ Well, you never know, it actually might or could happen now. And it’s great for a lot of the newer NXT people who are getting to experience a different ring, a different crowd, a different set-up because everything in sports entertainment to me is all about experience. You want to get as many experiences as you can, it makes you a better performer. “
