Appomattox Regional Library System celebrating 50 years with events and more

HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) — Come out and join the festivities as the Appomattox Regional Library System celebrates 50 years of serving Hopewell and the surrounding communities.

The Appomattox Regional Library is celebrating 50 years of service and three of its branches are holding anniversary receptions for the community to enjoy.

The anniversary celebrations are as followed:

Hopewell Library

Saturday, Sept. 21 from 2 to 5 p.m.

Prince George Library

Saturday, Sept. 28 from 2 to 5 p.m.

Rohoic Library

Saturday, Oct. 12 from 2 to 5 p.m.

From 1974 to present day, the Appomattox Regional Library System has been committed to serving the City of Hopewell, Prince George County and Dinwiddie County.
